EAGLE KACHINA
Feathers are very
important in all Katsina ceremonies. When they appear to dance,
there are usually several of them forming a dance group, imitating
the graceful movements of the squawking eagles. The group usually
represent a golden eagle, bald eagle, redtail and grey hawks.
Singers for this dance are usually the Mudheads of Katsinam.
