He is very impatient, dancing back and forth in back of the group, with a message which he sings in a loud voice for all to hear: "I am going to catch all the mischevious children, chew their bones, and no one will ever see them again." With scary feelings that are already being felt, his message simply makes it unbearable, and mothers and children all begin to cry. Each Kachina doll represents the benevolent spirit being who live among the Hopi for a six-month period each year.
