He represents the blooming of plant life and focuses on the beauty of life, as indicated by the flowers worn on his forehead. This katsina is very colorful whose songs are prayers for rain to sustain all life forms. A Toh'niy'lili, who is an uncle, accompanies the group of Navan'katsinam. He dances along the side, gesturing with his arms and hands the meaning of the words of the song, like a sign language.
